Every job request written down
RingLily asks what you need to quote or schedule a job: the customer's name and number, the address or area, what the problem is, and how soon they need someone. You get the details by email as soon as the call ends, with a transcript and a short summary in your dashboard.
Jobs the caller describes as urgent, or that match what you call urgent (no heat, water leaking, no power), are marked so they stand out.
What it tells customers
- Your service area, opening hours and the services you offer.
- Call-out fees and prices you choose to share, and what it shouldn't quote.
- What to do in an emergency while they wait, written by you: for example where to turn off the water or gas, or when to call the emergency services.
- When they can expect a call back.
Book visits, or pass the call to you
On the Growth and Pro plans the assistant can book a visit in a free slot of your schedule, following the hours, slot length and minimum notice you set (appointment booking). It can also transfer a call to your mobile when a customer needs to speak to you, only during working hours if you prefer. If you don't pick up, it takes a message so the customer isn't left hanging.
Nights and weekends
Emergencies don't keep office hours. With the after-hours template, the assistant explains when you're open, gives the emergency guidance you wrote, and takes a message for the morning, or for the person on call. It doesn't dispatch technicians itself: you decide who calls back. More on after-hours answering.

- Forward your business number to it: all calls, after hours, or only the calls you don't pick up (how to forward your calls).
